Instructions

    Pressure cook the soaked chickpeas till cooked (if using canned, rinse thoroughly with water).

    Heat a pan, add garlic and chopped onions and saute a couple of minutes.

    Add turmeric, chilli powder and pepper. Add the tomato puree and cooked chickpeas along with their water; stir and cook a minute.

    Add coconut milk and curry powder / garam masala and simmer 5 min.

    Add the spinach, cook a couple more minutes, and serve with rice / roti / naan / bread.
